R.E.D.D. Plant-Based Protein Bars

I’m so excited to introduce my favorite travel companion!  It doesn’t talk or take up valuable carry-on space, only gives me tons of nutrition and energy! Meet my go to wellness bar, R.E.D.D.  What does R.E.D.D. stand for?

I can guarantee they do deliver on that promise! I think most of us that travel often have come to view energy bars as a staple.  I’ve always got one or two stashed in my bag.  Energy or protein bars are a wonderful option because the generous expiration date allows a long life living in your bag.  I can throw a few in my purse or the car or a backpack without worrying it will rot like a forgotten banana! They are super easy to eat when you’re crammed in a middle seat and can’t get to your healthy lunch packed in your food bag…

They ARE delicious and are packed with multiple superfoods to help boost your energy and vitality. These little plant based bars get their protein from peas, hemp and pumpkin seeds. The healthy fats nourish the brain, keep my skin hydrated while flying and feeling fuller, longer. The real gem in these bars that truly make them my favorite is the combo of medicinal mushrooms; including chaga, cordyceps and reishi!  If that wasn’t impressive enough, they are also packed with açaí, turmeric and probiotics. All of these ingredients help to boost your immunity and energy as well as supporting overall wellness. We can all use ALL OF THAT right now!

Anyone who knows me will confirm I am adamant about consuming low sugar foods from a clean source.  With only 3-5 grams of sugar in each bar sweetened from all natural monk fruit, I am beyond thrilled to recommend R.E.D.D.  I’ve tried all the flavors but I have to say the mint chocolate is my favorite. It reminds me of those thin mint Girl Scout cookies!

So even if you aren’t traveling at the moment (or maybe not for the next 3-6 months;) R.E.D.D. bars are a great healthy choice for breakfast or a snack during the day. Replace your candy bars or cookies with a guilt-free superfood bar instead.  You’ll thank me!
